Well, my first attempt at binky buddies was to use Sculpey handmade beads with plastic pony beads. These were cute. But a lot of work and then not to happy with how imperfect the beads looked. The Sculpey beads are not very durable and break apart easily decided this was a disaster waiting to happen since babies like to chew and suck on beads!
